What can I expect from PROJEKTIL presents: GENESIS?
PROJEKTIL presents: GENESIS is an immersive light show in the beautiful St. Anna in Augsburg. The 30-minute show surrounds visitors from the very first seconds with enchanting music and magical animations on all walls and the ceiling. The audience is taken on a musical and visual journey through the story of creation – the “Genesis.”
Where does the show take place?
The show takes place at St. Anna, Im Annahof 2, 86150 Augsburg, Germany.
Is the show indoors or outdoors?
The show takes place indoors – in a church.
How long is the show?
The show lasts 30 minutes.
Is the show accessible to people with hearing impairments?
The show is visually designed so that people with hearing impairments can also enjoy it.
Is the show suitable for light-sensitive people?
No, unfortunately, the show is not suitable for people with photophobia.
Can I take photos or videos during the show?
Yes, you may take photos/videos and share them on social media. If you wish, you can tag the organizing artist collective’s profile: @projektilart. Please be careful when photographing and turn off the flash so as not to disturb other visitors. Professional photography equipment and/or tripods are not allowed.
Are there seats? Can I sit during the show?
There are numerous seating options such as church benches and cushions. Seating is unassigned. Choose your favorite spot upon arrival and enjoy the show.
Are there restrooms on-site?
No, unfortunately there are no restrooms available.
ACCESS TO THE EVENT
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before the start time stated on your booked ticket. As there is usually another performance taking place beforehand, you unfortunately cannot enter the event space earlier.
What happens if I am late?
If you arrive a bit late, you will unfortunately miss a few minutes of the show, but you can of course still enter and enjoy the rest.
Can I bring animals?
Unfortunately, no animals are allowed in the venue.
Is there a minimum age?
No, the event is suitable for people of all ages. For visitors with small children: the first two time slots of the day are specially marked as family-friendly.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
No, due to the unique architecture and historical preservation regulations, the venue is currently not fully accessible. However, there is a ramp at the entrance and our team will be happy to assist you.
Do people with disabilities who require a companion get a discount for that person?
For every paying visitor with a “disability pass B” (Schwerbehindertenausweis B), a free companion ticket can be obtained directly on-site. Please speak to the staff at the box office. For larger groups, please contact the organizer in advance.
Are there parking facilities on-site?
No, there are no parking facilities on-site. We strongly recommend traveling by public transport.
Does the event take place in bad weather?
Yes, as the event is indoors and the venue is fully covered.
Which items are prohibited at the event?
Cameras with flash, alcohol and open drinks, as well as anything that might disturb other visitors or distract from enjoying the show, are prohibited.
