Have you ever dreamt with your eyes wide open? Now you can, thanks to Genesis. After a successful stint in Berlin, Munich and Leipzig, the event of the year has finally made its way to Düsseldorf and will be held at Johannes Church in Düsseldorf.

Prepare to be captivated by a 30-minute show that immerses you in the story of Creation through dazzling visual and audio spectacles. You will be amazed by the fantastic animations and fully immersed in a lesser-known architectural masterpiece.

A PROJECTION MAPPING SHOW THAT BRIDGES ART AND TECHNOLOGY

The entire ceiling and hall structures have been measured, calculated and sized in order to perfectly accommodate the projections according to the proportions of the building, for a unique show of video mapping. Johanneskirche, Düsseldorf's largest Protestant church, impresses with its 88 metre high tower at Martin-Luther-Platz 39. Built between 1875 and 1881 in the neo-Romanesque style, it was reopened in 1953 after the destruction of the Second World War. Modern renovations, including a glass pulpit and a remodelled foyer, combine history with contemporary design. Today, the Johanneskirche serves as a place of worship and cultural events - a perfect blend of tradition and modernity in the centre of Düsseldorf.

It’s recommended to arrive 10–15 minutes before the showtime indicated on your ticket. Access to the venue is not possible earlier, as another show may still be running.

What if I arrive late?

If you’re late, you may miss part of the show but will still be allowed to enter and enjoy the remaining time.

Can I bring pets?

No, pets are not allowed in the venue.

Is there a minimum age requirement?

No, the event is open to all ages. The first two time slots of the day are specifically family-friendly for visitors with young children.

Is the venue wheelchair-accessible?

Yes, wheelchair users can access the venue via a ramp at the side entrance. Please notify staff at the main entrance for assistance.

Is there a discount for an accompanying person of a disabled visitor?
