Have you ever wished you could step directly into a dream? Now you can, with Enlightenment. After captivating audiences across Europe, this celebrated immersive experience is arriving in Edinburgh, set within the iconic and architecturally stunning McEwan Hall at The University of Edinburgh.

Journey through the shifting moods of the seasons as music and imagery flow around you. Discover spring, summer, autumn, and winter from a dazzling new perspective. Throughout this 30-minute multisensory spectacle, Vivaldi’s timeless Four Seasons is paired with mesmerizing, choreographed projections that transform the historic hall into a radiant, living canvas.

The Experience

What can I expect from Enlightenment?

The ENLIGHTENMENT light show transports you into the fascinating world of the four seasons. This homage to the cycle of life is accompanied by iconic pieces by Vivaldi, specially adapted for the occasion. ENLIGHTENMENT concludes with a spectacular light tableau.

Please note that Enlightenment is a sensory experience and may not be suitable for everyone.

Where will the experience take place? The event will take place at McEwan Hall, The University of Edinburgh at Teviot Pl, Edinburgh EH8 9AG.
Is the experience held indoors or outdoors? This experience takes place indoors.
How long does the experience last? The experience will last about 30 minutes. Please arrive at the venue 15 minutes before the start time.
Will food and drinks be available for purchase on-site? Unfortunately, there will be no food or drinks for sale at this event.
Is there parking on-site? Unfortunately, there will be no parking at this location. We recommend using public transport or finding a nearby parking lot.
Will there be virtual reality experiences at the event? There is no virtual reality at this event.
Will there be additional sessions? Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee there will be extra dates. Please refer to the experience page for updated information on availability, as those are the confirmed dates and timings.

Tickets

Where can I buy tickets? Tickets can be purchased on the Fever app, available on Google Play and the Apple Store, or via the Fever website.
Can I buy tickets on-site? Yes, tickets can be purchased on-site, but please note that our onsite box office will only be operative during Eonarium event dates and times, starting January 31st. However, tickets may be sold out when you arrive at the event, so we recommend booking your tickets in advance to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets on the Fever app or on the Fever website.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person? Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. Just click "Transfer Tickets" on the ticket in the Fever app. Please contact us for any doubts or questions. Make sure to mention your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket? Printing the ticket is not necessary; it will be validated via the Fever app upon your arrival at the location.
I can't find my ticket. What can I do? You can find your ticket in the Fever app, under the "Tickets" section. If you haven't installed the app, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account you used to book your ticket. If you still can't find your ticket, please contact us.
Are refunds allowed? What is the exchange policy?

This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance. If you wish to make a change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase.

You can also check if this option is available by checking your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever App where, if enabled, the "Change date and/or time" button will appear. Follow the steps indicated in the link to change the date and/or time of the ticket.

No refunds are allowed under any circumstances. For more information, please see our T&Cs.

Can I make a group booking? If you wish to book for a large group, contact groups@feverup.com with your preferred date of attendance and the size of your group.
Do you offer press passes? If you wish to request a press pass, please email press@feverup.com.

Access

What time do I need to arrive at the venue? Please arrive at the venue 15 minutes before the start time on your ticket. Late entry is not permitted.
What happens if I arrive late? We reserve the right to deny entry to latecomers, as arriving after the show begins may disrupt other guests' experience. If you have purchased a bean bag add-on and you arrive late, your beanbag might've been offered to a different user.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed? Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at this event; however, service dogs are permitted if accompanied by the required documentation.
Is the event wheelchair accessible? Yes, this venue is wheelchair accessible.
What items are not allowed at the event? Is smoking and/or vaping allowed? Flash photography, alcohol, cigarettes, vapes and anything which may disturb the other users. We reserve the right to refuse visitors entry to the venue if we deem them to be in possession of a prohibited item.
Are tickets for caregivers/nurses available?

Caregivers can access the experience for free. For this event, simply show a document certifying the need for an assistant upon arrival at the location, and your caregiver will have free access to the event. Please note that the guest requiring assistance must have a valid ticket. Here are a few of the documents we accept:

  • Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility

  • Receipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

  • Evidence of being severely sight impaired

  • CredAbility Access Card – + 1 category requirement

Is the experience accessible for deaf/visually impaired individuals? The hearing impaired will be able to enjoy this experience as it is mostly visual; however, we do not recommend this event for visually impaired people. We are doing our best to make all our experiences more inclusive; we recommend checking out other experiences in your city.
Will there be strobe lights? No, this event does not use strobe light effects. However, there will be music and light projections. As this is a sensory experience, please consider if the event is suitable for all audiences. The show contains bright, flashing lights that may cause discomfort and/or seizures for those with photosensitive epilepsy.
Will there be chairs? Can I sit during the event? There are both chairs and bean bags available for each guest. Chairs are our standard seating option, while bean bags are our premium seating option, available through the purchase of this ticket type.
Will there be toilets available on-site? Yes, there are toilets on-site; you can ask our on-site staff for directions.
Can I take photos or record the experience? Feel free to take photos and share them; just make sure not to disturb other guests by keeping your flash off. Professional equipment and tripods are not allowed.
Is there a lost and found area at the event? There is no lost and found box onsite. We recommend asking staff if they have found your belongings.
Is there a cloakroom at the event? Unfortunately, there will be no cloakroom onsite.
Is there an age requirement?

There are no age requirements; everyone is welcome! Children under 5 years old will be admitted for free, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that there will be an exclusive seating place for them, so they will need to sit with their respective parents. This experience is not recommended for children under the age of 2.

We also ask that you be mindful of noise and respectful of others' enjoyment of the experience. Our staff will be present and available to assist you should you or anyone in your group need to leave the room for a few minutes.
