Have you ever dreamt with your eyes wide open? Today, it's possible thanks to Enlightenment. After a resounding success in Zurich, the immersive experience of the year is finally arriving in Glasgow, within the heart of an exceptional historical monument: Merchants House of Glasgow.

Explore the four seasons through a breathtaking visual and auditory experience, immerse yourself in a unique perspective of spring, summer, autumn, and winter. During this 30-minute spectacle, let yourself be enchanted by the iconic melodies of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" accompanied by spectacular visuals. It's a complete immersion in a historical monument dating back to the 16th century.

A PROJECTION MAPPING SHOW THAT BRIDGES ART AND TECHNOLOGY

The entire ceiling and hall structures have been measured, calculated and sized in order to perfectly accommodate the projections according to the proportions of the building, for a unique show of video mapping. The gorgeous space immerses you in the sound and images in a way that is utterly breathtaking. Art, technology and spirituality come together in an experience that unleashes a new kind of beauty and creativity.

The Merchants House of Glasgow, at 7 West George Street, is a historic neoclassical landmark with deep ties to the city’s mercantile and civic life. Established in 1605 under the Letter of Guildry, it has played a key role in Glasgow's governance and charitable efforts for over 400 years. Though formal civic roles ended in 1973, the Merchants House continues to contribute to the city's civic affairs and remains a proud symbol of Glasgow’s rich commercial heritage.

What can I expect from Enlightenment?

The ENLIGHTENMENT light show transports you into the fascinating world of the four seasons. This homage to the cycle of life is accompanied by iconic pieces by Vivaldi, specially adapted for the occasion. ENLIGHTENMENT concludes with a spectacular light tableau.

Please note that Enlightenment is a sensory experience and may not be suitable for everyone.

Where does the experience take place?

The event will take place at The Merchants House of Glasgow, 7 West George Street, Glasgow G2 1BA

Will the experience take place indoors or outdoors?

This experience takes place indoors in an air-conditioned venue.

How long does the experience last?

The experience will last about 30 minutes. Please arrive at the venue 15 minutes before the start time.

Are food and drinks available for purchase on-site?

No food and/or drinks will be allowed on-site.

Tickets will not be sold on-site; they can only be purchased on the Fever app or Fever website.

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. Just click "Transfer Tickets" on the ticket in the Fever app. Please contact us for any doubts or questions. Make sure to mention your ticket order number.

Do I need to print my ticket?

Printing the ticket is not necessary; it will be validated via the Fever app upon your arrival at the location.

I can’t find my ticket. What can I do?

You can find your ticket in the Fever app, under the "Tickets" section. If you haven't installed the app, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account you used to book your ticket. If you still can't find your ticket, please contact us.

Are refunds allowed? What is the exchange policy?

Exchanges to other dates and/or times are permitted up to 48 hours before the event start time you originally purchased, subject to availability at the time of exchange. Refunds are not permitted under any circumstances. For further information, refer to the T&Cs.

What time do I need to arrive at the venue?

Please arrive at the venue 15 minutes before the start time on your ticket.

What happens if I arrive late?

We reserve the right to deny entry to latecomers, as arriving after the show begins may disrupt other guests' experience.

Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at this event; however, service dogs are permitted if accompanied by the required documentation.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

We are committed to ensuring that our venue is accessible and welcoming to all guests. Please note that due to the unique layout of the building, the lift may present accessibility challenges. The internal dimensions of the lift are 1.21m deep and 58.3cm wide, this may not be suitable for electric wheelchairs and some manual wheelchairs.

If you require assistance or have specific accessibility needs, please inform a member of our team upon arrival, or contact us in advance so that we can make suitable arrangements. We are here to help and will do our best to ensure that all guests have an enjoyable and inclusive experience.

What items are not allowed at the event? Is smoking and/or vaping allowed?

Photography with flash, alcohol, food, and drinks, and anything that may disturb other guests. We reserve the right to refuse entry to visitors if we believe they have a prohibited item with them. Smoking or vaping is not allowed.

Are tickets for caregivers/nurses available?

Caregivers can access the experience for free. For this event, simply show a document certifying the need for an assistant upon arrival at the location, and your caregiver will have free access to the event. Please note that the guest requiring assistance must have a valid ticket. Here are a few of the documents we accept:

Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility
Receipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Evidence of being severely sight impaired
CredAbility Access Card – + 1 category requirement

Is the experience accessible for deaf/blind individuals?

Unfortunately, this experience is not recommended for deaf and blind individuals. We are doing our best to make all our experiences more inclusive; we recommend checking out other experiences in your city.

Will there be strobe lights?

No, this event does not use strobe light effects. However, there will be music and light projections. As this is a sensory experience, please consider if the event is suitable for all audiences.

Will there be chairs? Can I sit during the event?

There will be chairs and bean bags available for each guest. Bean bags will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Will there be toilets available on-site?

Yes, there are toilets on-site; you can ask our on-site staff for directions.

Can I take photos or record the experience?

Feel free to take photos and share them; just make sure not to disturb other guests by keeping your flash off. Professional equipment and tripods are not allowed.

Is there a lost and found area at the event?

There is a lost and found box at the venue. Items will be stored for 6 months - thereafter, if suitable, they will be given to a charitable organization or disposed of.

Is there a cloakroom at the event?

There is an unmanned cloakroom. Belongings are therefore left at owners’ risk.

Is there an age requirement?

There are no age requirements; everyone is welcome! Strollers are allowed. Children under 5 years old will be admitted for free, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that there will be an exclusive seating place for them, so they will need to sit with their respective parents.

Please ensure that noise is kept to a minimum so other guests are not disturbed.

Are audio guides available?

Unfortunately, this experience does not include an audio guide.

Is there space for pushchairs and strollers?

There is limited space for pushchairs and strollers in the experience and this is operated on a first come first serve basis so guests are discouraged from bringing a pushchair / stroller.
