What can I expect from Genesis I?
Genesis is an immersive light show in a beautiful church. The 30-minute show captivates the visitor from the very first seconds with soothing music and enchanting animations. Throughout the show, the audience is taken on a musical and visual journey in four parts – light, water, soil, and plants – that represent the first three days of the story of creation: “Genesis”.
Where is the experience located?
The event will take place at The Swiss Church in London, 79 Endell St, London WC2H 9DY.
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
The experience will take place indoors. Please note you may be asked to queue to get into the venue so should factor in protection against adverse weather.
How long does the experience last?
The show will run for around 30 minutes.
Is there air conditioning?
There is no air conditioning.
Is the experience accessible for deaf people?
The experience is a visual experience that allows deaf people to enjoy the experience as well.
What accessibility options do we have for someone visually impaired?
We, unfortunately, do not have accessibility options for visually impaired visitors.
Will there be strobe lights?
There will not be strobe lights. The show contains bright, flashing lights that may cause discomfort and/or seizures for those with photosensitive epilepsy.
Will food and beverage be available on-site for purchase?
No.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Feel free to take photos and share them. When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other customers. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience?
The experience is a primarily seated experience and we will have chairs and bean bags available.
Will restrooms be available on site?
There will be restrooms available on-site, as well as an accessible restroom/baby changing room.
ACCESS
Do I need to wear a mask?
We do not require wearing masks, but we ask visitors to follow the local and national guidelines and rules.
When do I need to arrive?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the beginning of your booked time slot.
What happens if I arrive late?
You will not be able to view the show at your booked time slot to not disturb other visitors. We will do our best to move you to the next available time slot on the same day if there is one and the show schedule and venue capacity allow it.
Can I bring animals?
Animals are not allowed at the event.
Are service dogs allowed?
Service dogs are allowed at the event.
Is there an age requirement?
There is no age requirement, but we highly recommend not bringing children younger than 3 years old to not interrupt the show for other visitors. The music is broadcasted through speakers and not personal headphones. Additionally, strollers are not allowed inside.
Is there parking available?
There is no official parking available near the venue.
What if the weather is bad?
Given this is an indoor event, the weather will not have any impact on the show running.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
Flash photography, alcohol, and anything which may disturb the other patrons. We reserve the right to refuse visitors entry to the venue if we deem them to be in possession of a prohibited item.
Are wheelchairs available to rent?
Wheelchairs are not available for rent.
How do I book a ticket for my carer?
Carers are welcomed at the exhibition with free admission upon showing the appropriate documentation at the entrance. Please note that the guest requiring assistance must have a valid ticket. Here are a few of the documents we accept: * Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility.
- Receipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
- Evidence of being severely sight impaired.
- CredAbility Access Card – + 1 category requirement.
- A recognised Assistance Dog ID Card.
