What can I expect from PROJEKTIL presents GENESIS?
PROJEKTIL presents GENESIS is an immersive light show held in the beautiful St. Paulus Church (Pauluskirche) in Trier. The 30-minute show surrounds visitors from the very first seconds with enchanting music and magical animations projected onto all the walls and the ceiling.

Is the show indoors or outdoors?
The show is indoors, inside the church.
How long does the show last?
The show runs for 30 minutes.
Is it accessible for people with hearing impairments?
Yes, the show is visually designed and remains fully accessible to visitors with hearing impairment.
Is the show suitable for people sensitive to light?
Unfortunately, the show is not suitable for people with photophobia.
Can I take photos or videos during the show?
Yes, you're welcome to take photos and videos and share them on social media — feel free to tag @projektilart on Instagram. Please make sure the flash is off to avoid disturbing other guests. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted.
Are there seats available?
Yes, there are plenty of seats. Seating is unassigned, so you can choose your preferred spot upon arrival.
Are there restrooms on-site?
No, there are no restrooms available on site.
Event Access
When should I arrive?
It's recommended to arrive 10–15 minutes before the showtime indicated on your ticket. Access to the venue is not possible earlier, as another show is usually running before yours.
What if I arrive late?
If you're late, you may miss some minutes of the show but will still be allowed to enter and enjoy the remaining time.
Can I bring pets?
No, animals are not allowed in the venue.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
No, the event is open to all ages. The first two time slots of the day are specifically family-friendly for visitors with young children.
Is the venue wheelchair-accessible?
Yes, the venue has a wheelchair-accessible entrance. Please ask our on-site staff for assistance. Please note that there is no wheelchair-accessible restroom on site.
Is there a discount for an accompanying person of a disabled visitor?
Yes, paying visitors with the German disability pass "Schwerbehindertenausweis B" can get a free companion ticket on site. For larger groups, please contact the organizer in advance.
Are there parking facilities?
No, there is no on-site parking. Public transportation is highly recommended.
Will the event still take place in bad weather?
Yes, the event is fully indoors and weatherproof.
Are there any prohibited items?
Flash cameras, alcohol, open drinks and any items that could disturb others are not allowed.
